Site of the Golf Club and Ballmakers workshop

[Dunbar]
The orignal clubmakers workshop at North Berwick was situated in the quarry below the first green, (above) east of the Pointgarry putting green where Davie Strath and James Beveridge made clubs and balls. They were in business together for three years and there are only two examples of their clubs known, one a 'Long Nose Play Club' sold at Sotherby's in 1999. © Digitalsport UK
