When Bob Ferguson died in 1915 a memorial fountain was erected on Barcarres Road adjoining Musselburgh Links. In 1938
when Musselburgh Golf Club moved to Monktonhall, the fountain was transferred to a new site
in front of Musselburgh clubhouse, where it remains.
